This concert seeks to recreate the unbounded spirit of Holi that is intrinsic in the melody, the rhythms and the literature of myriad music compositions performed in North India. Trained under veterans like Sunil Bose, Subhra Guhais one of the senior-most female vocalists of Agra gharana. She is also adept in Poorabangthumriand has performed widely at home and overseas. With her vast repertoire from classical and semi-classical music, she will create the splendour of this colourful festival with a bouquet of compositions of khayal,hori-damar, thumri, dadraetc. depicting the festival of Holi.
