‘Born to Love – Life Story of Cupid’

Sandip Soparrkar is an Indian dancer and choreographer. He is well known for Bachata, Ballroom, Cha-Cha, Jive, Merengue, Salsa, Swing, Tango dance styles. He is the first Indian to be certified by the ‘Ballroom Dance Teachers Training School’ in Bonn, Germany. Along with numerous Bollywood movies he has also worked for Hollywood films as a choreographer. He has choreographed Madonna and Britney Spears in the film Nine. In 2014, he along with his dance partner Jesse Randhawa represented India at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

Sandip will be presenting a dance drama along with live musicians on the life of Cupid depicting stories from the Greek and Roman mythology.

He will also be talking about various Classical Ballroom and Latin dances and how they are the only dance form to be included in the Asian Games and now will be in the Olympic Games too.
