L. Deshpande (1919-2000), the celebrated writer, director, playwright, screenplay writer, actor, music composer and harmonium player, also served as the Honorary Director of the NCPA. On the occasion of his birth centenary, well-known vocalist Satyasheel Deshpande will portray PL’s world of music as depicted in his inimitable writings. The session will also include live demonstrations and rare recordings of great masters of music whom PL adored and wrote about.
