This session on embracing digital space aims to introduce artistes to platforms, processes and means to enhance their artistic interactions online. It seeks to enable artistes to conduct virtual classrooms, online performances, conferences, seminars etc. using household equipment, handy tools, freely available and subscription-based software effectively.

Discussions will cover various subjects including: Home acoustics & lighting system settings, Building an online classroom, Re-modelling teaching methodologies for the digital medium, Live & deferred live streaming of performances/seminars, Participate & host performances, workshops etc., Branding and promotions, Setting up a digital auditorium, Creating content with a professional outlook for monetization, Tie ups with streaming platforms and other digital spaces and Use of social media pages to monetize.

Keerthi Kumar is a faculty for Kathak, Rhythm structures and Arts management at Natya Institute of Kathak & Choreography, Bengaluru. He is also a sought-after Lighting and multimedia designer. Besides dance, Keerthi also holds a Master’s in Business Administration and is the co-founder of ARTMOS through which he creates choreographic works for educational institutions.
