Cosmic Rhythms

Cosmic Rhythms is a duet performance by Nandita Kalaan Mehra and Amrita Sivakumar, senior disciples of Jyotsna Shourie, who established the Jyotsna Shourie’s Dance Society in New Delhi in 1990. This is a dance company that brings a contemporary approach and vitality to the rich vocabulary of Bharatanatyam. Here creative excellence is combined with a global vision to widen the frontiers of classical dance.

Cosmic Rhythms seeks to explore and construct a supportive understanding between creation and rhythm with melody and harmony. A novel and innovative performance wherein The Lord of Dance surveys the world he created through mesmerising movements, tempered with soulful melody.
