Age – 9 to 14 years
Does your child love to ask questions, share opinions or engage in friendly argument? This workshop is a great module for schoolchildren to develop, enhance and master debating skills. Students are encouraged to explore a range of relevant topics, thus developing their unique opinions while appreciating perspectives that differ from their own. This workshop also encourages children to build inquisitiveness, research and speaking skills.
What your child will learn:
- Crafting strong arguments through scripting and research
- The rules and structure of debates such as rebuttals, cross-examination and resolutions
- Vocabulary enhancement along with persuasive speaking skills
- Creative thinking and presence of mind
