Ek Main Aur Ek Two

In this wickedly amusing play by Paritosh Painter; the master craftsman of comedy. Monika Duggal a divorcee living in an elegant flat in Colaba, solves her financial problems by entertaining two married gentlemen; one Mr.Percy Karkaria, an Estate Agent, and the other Mr.Bobby Dhillon who is in the Poultry business. But she entertains both these gentlemen on different days of the week, Percy on Monday, Wednesday & Friday and Bobby on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. Both are unaware of each other’s existence.

The scheme faces a collapse when Monika’s friend Aaisha, whose marriage is tottering, arrives at the flat hotly pursued by her drunkard husband Kedar. At the same time one of Monika’s lovers ie. Percy is confined to Monika’s bed with a sprained ankle, and the second lover Bobby turns up unexpectedly, closely followed by Percy’s irate wife Delnaaz in search of her husband. The indescribable confusion with the arrival of Gullu Plumber at Monika’s house and what follows builds into a rich complexity of mistaken identities, splendid farcical situations, and a climax of comic wizardry.

Ek Main Aur Ek Two is a very witty-cleverly constructed, comic farce –A fast, funny plot makes this rip-roaring farce easy & enjoyable for the entire family.
