Magic, Whimsy & Writing – A Poetry Workshop with Megha Rao

 Surrounded by archives of Indian music, theatre, cinema and literature, the NCPA Library offers the perfect ambience for a workshop that celebrates the joy of reading and writing poetry.

Join poet Megha Rao for Magic, Whimsy & Writing – an experience-led poetry workshop that invites the participants to rediscover their most playful and poetic self.

Through joyful prompts, affirmations and guided writing exercises, participants will create a handmade guidebook of poems, reflections and doodles—a personal keepsake of words to return to on quieter days.

The session concludes with a reading circle, where Rao shares from her private and unreleased works, and participants can read aloud their own pieces. Each participant will also receive a piece of original artwork by Rao.
