In recent years, a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem has emerged within India’s mental health landscape. How have entrepreneurs responded to India’s cultural, economic, social, and infrastructural challenges to ensure wider access to better mental healthcare? In this discussion we bring together three founders who have pushed the limits of mental healthcare practices in India through organisations, advocacy, funding, and health solutions. The aim is to reflect on the arc of such changes in practice in an Indian context, as well as what it takes to create and sustain impact in the field. This conversation offers you an exclusive look at the pathway to more sustainable models of care that centre the individual, and pathways to development that centres community care in the face of inequality.
