This moving documentary is equal parts moving, epicurean, honest and inspiring. Even more unusually, for a posthumous release, it is even narrated and co-directed by the legendary singer and songwriter. An array of musical stalwarts that include Nile Rodgers, Stevie Wonder and Mary J. Blige and more have paid tributes to George Michael’s many talents. The film is an ode that views the singer in a slightly different light, as a warrior, a survivor and an ardent fan of soul music.
