Jayaprabha Menon is one of the most accomplished dancers of the new generation. Her pleasing stage presence and graceful exposition have brought a new aesthetics to Mohiniattam. Even as she is rooted in tradition, her themes are contemporary and her interpretation is bold and novel. She blends in her dance a refreshing originality with traditional discipline. Avani Shah is a trained Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer. She has choreographed the very famous ‘Varnam’ Navaratri shows (garba and dandiya festival), GGM (Garbi Galaxy Mandal) events in Rajkot, Gujarat and Rajasthani folk shows and events. She has also choreographed videos and film songs with Rajeshwari Sachdeo, Falguni Pathak, Shibani Kashyap, Lalit Sen, Raju Hirani and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Recently, she was a co-choreographer and assistant to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Padmavat. Light designed by Salim Akhtar, singer Heena Mehta.

The show will have a short pre-performance snippet of Gujarati Folk Dance in the Experimental Theatre Garden at 5.30 pm.
