Mumbai Piano Day

For the first time Mumbai features some of the most brilliant Pianists and Keyboardists of India in an exciting evening of music focussing on individual and collective Piano and Keyboard artistry .Apart from being one of the featured artists , the Piano Day will be  curated by our very own piano giant and India’s Godfather of Jazz ,LOUIZ BANKS . This exclusive and one of a kind presentation will span and push forward the legacies left by some of the world’s greatest Piano and Keyboard artists in the realm of Western Classical , Jazz, Rock , Latin ,Rhythm and Blues , Soul and Funk and Fusion.

This spectacular evening will feature the likes of KARIM ELLABOUDI, known for immense energy ,his virtuosity and rhythmic sensibilities ; ANURAG NAIDU , trained in both Western Classical  as well as jazz ,having graduated from the Bill Evans Music Academy in Paris ;MERLIN D’SOUZA ,fluent with Jazz Fusion , Hindustani and World Music , is a composer of repute having a string of original compositions for various important events in India and across the globe ; SANGEET HALDIPUR, is a jazz pianist ,composer , Music Director for many projects, is at home with all genres of music ;INDERJIT”TUBBY” SHARMA is a very versatile keyboardist and a very strong and funky soloist , a very good arranger and composer ; STEPHEN DEVASSY , a musician who has been dubbed Flying fingers and the Prince of Piano ,has an incredible number of live performances in more than 80 countries and is a firm believer in the Devine inspiration from God for his musicianship ;

KASHYAP IYENGAR , is only 15 years old but is a gifted pianist ,keyboardist ,vocalist ,songwriter ,music producer , arranger and a multi instrumentalist ,he also holds the highest distinction degree in the music production Course offered by the reputed Berklee College of Music ; NADINE CRASTO , a graduate with a Master’s of ART degree in Piano Performance at the Royal Academy of Music ,London ,has completed her LTCL , has performed innumerable concerts in various cities of India  and London ; NAKUL JOGDEO ,an acclaimed pianist from Pune  with many performances to his credit ,he has also studied Indian Classical vocals and holds a licentiate diploma in Piano from Trinity College of Music ; PRIYA ANN FERNANDES, received her diploma in piano performance from the ABRSM ,London, she has received numerous awards for her piano performance , she also has performed the Bombay Chamber Orchestra in various concerts; SONAM LODHI , she actively participates in National Piano competitions , she frequently accompanies the Bel Canto Choir , has worked in various Master classes with famous pianist like Paul Stewart and Mark Troop .

Apart from four hands ,and eight hands  Western Classical piano pieces , the artists will also perform popular and original pieces  covering all genres of music accompanied by a world class rhythm section . This amazing Piano Parade will surely regale the audience with an abundance of exciting Piano and keyboard styles .
