L. Deshpande (1919-2000), the celebrated writer, director, playwright, screenplay writer, actor, music composer and harmonium player, also served as the Honorary Director of the NCPA. The title of the documentary is ‘PuLa’, as P. L. Deshpande was popularly known among the people of Maharashtra and to the world at large. This film depicts, in his own words, the multifaceted life of P. L. Deshpande.
