The Dal Segño Trio featuring LaToya Smith (6:30 pm)

The Dal Segño trio is a professional New York jazz trio that plays traditional jazz standards from the Great American Song book with a Modern flair. The trio has been performing together for the last 9 year and have recorded numerous albums. Were excited to be sharing our music with the people of Mumbai as this is our debut in India and we’re eager to get everyone singing and dancing with us! On this trip we’ll be joined by out special guest Vocalist Latoya Smith. Latoya plays regularly with the trio in New York and is one of the upcoming star vocalist in the United States. Expect to be dazzled with with swinging rhythms that will make you want to move, sing and go home wanting more!

We will be featuring the music of Numerous composers from the Great American Song Book.

Camille Thurman with the Darrell Green Trio (8:00 pm)

DownBeat Magazine rising star saxophonist and vocalist Camille Thurman joins the incomparable talented drummer Darrell Green for a collaborative performance debuting music from their latest Horace Silver tribute project. They will feature new arrangements and compositions inspired by the great pianist Horace Silver as well as a mixture of original compositions and standard classics.
