Dipjyoti-Dipankar started learning Sattriya Dance at the tender age under Guru Smt. Bobbyrani Talukdar, Smt. Dollyrani Talukdar and Presently receiving training in Sattriya Dance from Sri Ram Krishna Talukdar. Dipjyoti-Dipankar graduated from The Luit Konwar Rudra Baruah State College of Music of Assam in Sattriya Dance. They are also Bisharad in Kathak Dance under Guru Smt. Bobbyrani Talukdar and the Kathak exponent Guru Marami Medhi. They completed M.A in Performing Arts from DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY. Dipjyoti received Gold medal for Sattriya Dance in Youth Festival 2012 organised by Gauhati University and Dipankar obtained 1st class first position in B. Music from Luit Knowar Rudra Baruah State College of Music under the Gauhati Univeristy recently Dipjyoti-Dipankar Achieved “Uddugik Bota” from All Assam Nibanuwa Sanstha and ‘YUBAKALARATNA AWARD’ from Kuchipudi art Academy Andhrapradesh. Dipjyoti – Dipankar is declared as a graded artist from Doordarshan Guwahati. They are Selected Empanelled artist of ICCR duet category in the year 2017.

A promising artist of young generation Dipjyoti- Dipankar has participated extensively at several prestigious dance festivals in India including Octave 2009 Goa and Mumbai along with performances in Aruangabad and Pune under the sponsorship of S. N. A. with Guru Ram Krishna Talukdar. Samprada Festival Bhopal, Nritya Prava, Basant Utsav, 57th Madhya Pradesh Established day. Saptaparni Orissa Festival. Assam day in India International Trade Fare in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Leichal Festival in Chennai organised by Chennai Kalakshetra, Biswa Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Samanaya Kshetra Axom Sahitya Sabha at Barpeta Road, National Tribal Dance Festival at Bhubaneswar, Elephant Festival in Kaziranga, World Dance Day Rabindra Bhawan & District Libary at Guwahati, Chandalika Dance Drama in Sattriya style presented by Sattriya Kendra of SNA at Guwahati, Kolkata, Santi Niketan New Delhi, Nirtya Aradhana-4 a National Classical Dance Festival at Shimoga (Karnataka), Manikanchan Nritya Sangam of Sattriya dance at Kochi (Kerela). 6th International Pragjyotish dance festival at Guwahati, Khajuraho dance festival 2014 at Madhya Pradesh. 12 jibanpani memorial dance festival. Kalaghoda art festival Mumbai. Translation award function Sahitya Academy. Uttar-purva Nrityaparva Agartala. Mahakumbha utsav at Ujjain 2016, performed for “nirjhara” organized by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya at Bhopal. 2nd Durgapur Dance and Music festival 2016. Raindrop’s festival Mumbai 2017. Recently They Performed Portblair, Havelock Island at Andaman and Nicobar Island under the Sangeet Natak Academi.
Dipjyoti-Dipankar have taken Sattriya dance to National level reality show (Bharat ki Shan Rum Jhum) for the first time and they get bless from Padmabibhusan Dr. Sonal Mansingh.
