Ankur Ballal is an Odissi dancer trained by Guru Jhelum Paranjape at Smitalay Mumbai and have been a part of all Smitalay productions from the past 24 years. He has also received training from Padmavibhushan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and his son Ratikant Mohapatra along with Sujata Mohapatra. He is a graded artist of Doordarshan with a Nritya Visharad Degree from the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in Odissi. He has performed in major festivals in India like “Mukteshwar festival”, “Hampi festival”, “Surya festival “, “Kalaghoda festival”, Odissi Festival ICCR Kolkata, Umang NCPA 2015, “Ghungroo 2020” Navi Mumbai to name a few. He was awarded the “Advocate Sadashivrao Deve” Award 2019 for the best Guru and for his contribution in Indian Classical Dance. He is the three-time winner of the famous and first reality show on Sony Channel Boogie-Woogie (1997-2000). He works as an assistant choreographer with Jhelum Paranjape and has choreographed Raavan’s Shiv Tandava Stotra and a ballet on Marathi poet Bahinai Choudhary titled ‘Bahinaai’. With the blessings of Guru Jhelum Paranjape, he got an opportunity to worked with the mentally challenged children to spread the joy of dance amongst them. Currently he is the Dance Teacher to the little ones at Goenka Associates Educational Trust (GAET) Yashodham Play Mate Pre-Primary School in Goregaon East.

Rohan Dahale started his training at a very early age under Dr. Banamali Maharana & Padma Vibhushan Kelucharan Mohapatra. He still continues his training with Ratikant Mohaptra. He has performed with Srjan, Nrityagram & Smitalay for many festivals in India & abroad.
