Eesha Pinglay is a young dynamic Bharatanatyam performer whose petite frame belies the strength that her expansive movements exude. Trained under Vaibhav Arekar for over fifteen years, she continues to pursue a deeper and meaningful experience of this art under him. Eesha has a Diploma in Bharatanatyam from Lasya Centre for Performing Arts and her Master’s degree in Bharatanatyam from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth.

Eesha is a principal dancer with the Sankhya Dance Company having performed at major festivals and dance venues in India like Khajuraho, NCPA’s Mudra and NCPA’s Nakshatra festival, Modhera, Sindhu, Dhauli etc. She has perfprmed  in its critically acclaimed works like Trayyanta, Naama Mhane, Shiva, Abhangaranga, Shrimanta yogi, seasons, Nibandhana and has essayed the lead role to ‘Usha’ in over 50 shows. Her solo performances have been at the endowment program Music academy, Chennai. Goonj Festival Pune, Nritya Sandhya- Rajkot, Avartana series -Sankhya, Natyarangam monthly series. Graded artist at the Doordarshan, Eesha had  the privilege to tour with Vaibhav Arekar to USA, Poland, Japan, Taiwan, Hungary, Russia, Canada. She is deeply involved with the Sankhya Dance Company in various capacities- as a dance instructor to young kids, a rehearsal director and an administrative head. She is the core team member of the Sankhya initiative- Samvaad and Urjaa- that works towards promoting classical dance in schools through lecture-demonstrations and performances.

Radhika Karandikar, a disciple of Vaibhav Arekar, has been a core dancer in the Sankhya Dance Company for over 5 years now. Having completed her masters in Bharatanatyam, she is also a recipient of the Govt of India’s ‘Scholarship for young artists’. She has performed extensively with Sankhya across the nation and abroad at various prestigious dance festivals. She works as a dance teacher and Carnatic vocalist apart from being a full-time performer.
