SOI Music Director Marat Bisengaliev is the featured soloist in Bruch’s soulful First Violin Concerto, with the Symphony Orchestra of India, conducted by Martyn Brabbins, on the SOI’s debut UK Tour. Blending dazzling virtuosity with heartrending melody – it’s not hard to hear why it is considered the world’s most adored violin concerto. Marat’s performance was hailed by Classical Source as “without question, the finest live performance of this masterpiece I have heard.”
This performance was recorded at Cadogan Hall, London, on February 25, 2019, as part of the SOI’s UK Tour.
