Indian philosophy offers two paths to realise the divine: sagun and nirgun, in which divinity is expressed with and without form and attributes, respectively.

Trained by Purushottam Upadhyay in light music, Himali Vyas Naik has also studied Indian classical, semi-classical and Western music. She is adept in Bollywood and experimental genres and has performed at various places in India and other countries. Having collaborated with several renowned labels and performed for films and dramas, she is a recipient of notable awards and accolades.

This presentation will include gems of bhakti sangeet ranging from the prabhatiyas of Narsinh Mehta, bhajans of Gangasati, Bhago Charan, Toli Rani, Meerabai and others along with some regional folk forms.

Chintan Naik, an accomplished anchor-poet, will compère the event.
