The second book launch in the Granth Sangati series is Maulik Ambedkar, the Marathi translation of Essential Ambedkar, published by Popular Prakashan. Edited by Dr. Bhalchandra Mungekar, a noted economist, educationist and former MP, the book encapsulates Dr. Ambedkar’s transformative ideas on caste, religion, women’s rights, education and constitutional values. The Marathi translation is by Anagha Lele, a seasoned translator known for her work in literature and social sciences.
The session will feature insightful talks by Dr. Mungekar and Ramdas Bhatkal, exploring Ambedkar’s legacy and its relevance. This event is a tribute to the great visionary’s enduring impact on Indian society.
