A collection of Amar A. Reddy, curated by Sandeep Dahisarkar, ‘Timeless Impressions’ showcases over 50 of the best prints from Reddy’s collection of over 400 prints, including Raja Ravi Varma`s rare Chromolithographs and Oleographs. Varma, renowned for blending European academic art with Indian iconography, made his works widely accessible through affordable lithographs, significantly influencing public engagement with fine arts. The collection, displayed in 2023 at MNWC`s Nanavati College, Mumbai was dedicated to Reddy’s parents, reflecting his deep appreciation for the artist’s legacy and cultural impact.
A recent exhibition that concluded on 16th December, 2024 at the Government College of Art and Design, Nagpur, received an overwhelming response.
