A Fly on the Wall
English and Kutchi with English Subtitles (83 mins)
A friendship walks the distance between life and death in Nilesh Maniyar and Shonali Bose’s A Fly on the Wall. Loved ones pour in from different parts of the world to raise one last toast with Chika Kapadia, who has Stage 4 cancer. In the coming week, he has an appointment at Dignitas, a Swiss non-profit, for physician-assisted suicide. Bose, tasked with shooting Chika’s countdown to death, records her own feelings too, weaving a tale of dignity in death through the lens of friendship.
