Jayashree Aravind has trained with several renowned stalwarts, including K. S. Narayanaswamy, T. Brinda and K. V. Narayanaswamy, making her repertoire wide and appealing. The focus of her research has been Tanjore traditions in veena music. Besides her specialisation in instrumental music, she has also set a dance-drama production. A recipient of several honours, she has performed widely in India and overseas.

Hailing from a family of musicians and Tamil scholars, Sukanya Ramgopal initially trained in the mridangam and violin. Later, she studied the ghatam under the inimitable maestro, Vikku Vinayakram. With the distinction of being the first female ghatam player, she has had the privilege of performing in several prestigious venues around the world. A recipient of several laurels, she is committed to teaching and popularising the ghatam. In this female-led ensemble, besides wielding the ghatam and rendering konnakol (vocal percussion), she will also perform on ghata tarang, a set of ghatams tuned to different pitches. Joining her will be Lakshmi Rajasekar Iyer (mridangam), Jayamangala Krishnamani (kanjira), Bhagyalakshmi M. Krishna (morsing) and Vani Manjunath (flute).
