SPECTRUM – CELEBRATING DANCES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

A new initiative of the NCPA, Spectrum presents dance forms from around the world. It is dedicated to Western dance forms such as ballroom, salsa, jive, tango, etc., covering a spectrum of dances from around the world. For its first season we have Latin Ballroom dances by celebrated dancer-choreographer Sandip Soparrkar and troupe, Urban Hip-Hop and Jazz by eminent artiste Ashley Lobo’s The Danceworx, Ballet by senior exponent Tushna Dallas’ The School of Classical Ballet and Western Dance, Chair dancing by actor and founder of PoleStar India Smilly Suri, Flamenco by ambassador of flamenco to India – Shehzeen Cassum and Aerial Silk by expert Aditi Deshpande.
