Hadra, which means “divine presence”, is also a Sufi ritual that goes back a long way in Moroccan history. Based on traditional Moroccon melodies, the singers are known to practise chant-music inducing trance, bringing to life the blue nights called Hadra Sufi nights.  Hadarrattes Souiriyattes is an eight-member, all-female group of musicians who themselves play various instruments. The group seeks to invoke the divine and spread the message of love and peace with their trance music imbued with hues of spirituality.
