Blue is the Colour of Jazz
An NCPA Presentation
Jazz music embraces the entire spectrum of colours. But it all begins with blue.
Jazz is a powerful communicator of emotions and moods. It is the ultimate musical conversation, being spontaneous and totally improvised. Many attempts have been made to define jazz but are only approximate. The closest and most satisfying one is where it has been said to having ‘a feel for the blues’ in its sound.
The ‘Blue Note’ is a unique and essential contribution to the make up of this amazing music.
Sunil Sampat will take you on a discovery of jazz from a unique perspective.
Entry free on a first come, first served basis. NCPA Members will get preferential seating till 5.20 pm.
