Seeker, poet and festival curator Arundhathi Subramaniam introduces the festival and reflects on the role of the female body in Bhakti poetry. The presentation will be interspersed with readings of poems in translation, celebrating an extraordinary literary legacy that radically extends and redefines our understanding of the erotic and the existential.
