An Abhinaya workshop that explores and interrogates the textual and musical frameworks through the lens of Ashtapadis (Gita Govinda). Mavin Khoo shares processes developed and devised through working with Akram Khan. Focus will be given to the interpretive and subtextual possibilities of sahitya along with a rigorous understanding of the musical nuances that supports and initiates ideas.
Fee for the workshop would be Rs.1000.00 ( one complimentary ticket of the show)
Please note that if any participant is not using their ticket, then they can donate their complimentary ticket for young students of dance who cannot afford. We already have some requests from such students.
This will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A with artistic director and choreographer Akram Khan.
