The NCPA is committed to preserving and promoting India's rich and vibrant artistic heritage in the fields of music, dance, theatre, film, literature and photography, as well as presenting new and innovative work by Indian and international artists from a diverse range of genres including drama, contemporary dance, orchestral concerts, opera, jazz and chamber music.
Train
This prime downtown setting on the shores of the Arabian Sea is close to two of the city's largest railway stations, Churchgate and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST).
Buses
B.E.S.T. bus routes 108 and 137 stop right outside the NCPA. Special buses are available from CST and Churchgate. Special bus 9 goes from Churchgate Station to NCPA during rush hours and special bus 115 goes from CST station to NCPA.
Taxis
During peak hours, share-a-taxi schemes are available from CST and Churchgate to Nariman Point, next to the NCPA.
Parking
Parking facilities for audience members are available at the NCPA on a first come first served basis. Vehicles are parked at owner's risk and the NCPA cannot accept liability for loss or damage.
Metro line 3
Board the Aqua Line and ride to Vidhan Bhavan Metro Station, from where the NCPA is about 600 metres away.
