After the Partition of 1947, Wazeera, a journalist from India, visits Pakistan to meet the writer, Saadat Hasan Manto. She interviews him and asks him why he writes the way he does. She tries to understand the writer in a deeper manner and, in the bargain, hopes to discover some truths about herself. In due course, the three famous stories of the writer are presented, the characters being played by the main artistes themselves. A mixed blend of emotions, drama and laughter.
