NCPA@home – In Search of the Goddess by Mallika Sarabhai

An exceptional dance theatre presentation by exponent Mallika Sarabhai for the NCPA Add Art Festival, 29th November 2019.

In search of the Goddess is a presentation which explores the perception of the mother Goddess Shakti through classical dance, theatre, storytelling and mime.
Taking some traditional pieces from the repertoire of Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi, she juxtaposes these with her own contemporary interpretations of the Mother Goddess, using her own writing and that of other modern writers.
