In an old five-story hospital, the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) committee receives an anonymous complaint in a peculiar, poorly constructed language. It alleges that a liftman has “troubled” a sweeper in the elevator. Though initially dismissed as an anonymous informal note and not a major incident, protocol forces the committee to convene.
When the sweeper is called in, she surprises everyone by admitting she wrote the letter. Her hesitant and unusual behavior raises doubts about her story’s truthfulness.
As the investigation unfolds, the committee becomes divided—some believe the sweeper is lying, while others suspect a hidden truth. Ambiguous evidence only deepens the uncertainty, the inquiry spirals into chaos and unresolved tensions among the committee members.
What begins as a simple complaint transforms into a poignant exploration of how justice is shaped—and often skewed—by power dynamics, socio-political privilege, and human frailty.
