Hamare hisaab se duniya mein teen hi krantikari huye hain: Karl Marx, Bhagat Singh aur Pintu Bhaiya. With these words begins the fascinating story of Pintu Bhaiya as seen from the eyes of a young boy in Patna back in the early 2000s.
The Pintu Bhaiya in question is a notorious gang leader, local legend and a hopeless romantic, desperately in love. Our young, impressionable narrator tells this tale of “love”, small-town shenanigans and displaced identities with humour, satire and a rare innocence that will warm your heart, make you laugh and sometimes cry even though Pintu bhaiya ne bola hai ki “Rona Nahin Hai!”.
