An NCPA Off-Stage Presentation
The story of two teenagers in love. Not the kind of love we associate with teenagers. Khudiram Bose and Thillayaadi Velliamai never met, but they were both connected by a common passion – a love for their motherland. Beyond jingoism, and certainly beyond blind faith or parochialism, these brave young people took on an entire establishment, shaking the foundation of an unjust government. One chose the bomb, the other chose the power of self-pride. Heroes who were present for us at the break of dawn, so that our days could be lived in dignity and peace.
